American Heart Association BLS Provider Course
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course trains healthcare professionals to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies with confidence and skill. This hands-on course emphasizes high-quality CPR, AED use, and team dynamics—the essential foundation for saving lives in both prehospital and in-facility settings.
Course Overview:
Participants will learn how to:

Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

Use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) effectively

Provide ventilations using barrier devices and bag-mask techniques

Work as part of a team during multi-rescuer resuscitation

Recognize and respond to cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and choking situations
Course Format:
This instructor-led course includes video-based instruction, skills practice, and realistic team scenarios to reinforce key concepts and ensure participants are prepared for real-world emergencies.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course and written exam, participants will receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for 2 years.
